The Witching Hour versus the Angel Hour

The witching hour is that time of day when shares can go either way with a bias for the downside. The angel hour is also that time of day where shares will also go either way;the likelihood of which is northerly.

The witching hour is from 11.00 A.M. to 12 A.M. whilst the angel hour is from 4.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.

Then we have the rush hour. That is the time when the market opens. Restless sellers will start selling down their stocks out of fear. Similarly, desperate buyers will put up high prices to procure shares they want. Once rush hour subsides, the market will then stabilise before the advent of the witching hour.

Then in the afternoon session, once shares have come down a wee bit, buyers might come in during the angel hour to take advantage of better valuations.

So do you feel lucky when you buy or sell stocks?
